I never thought I would care about curling -
I never thought I would care about curling ( Sat February 27 2010)
It’s funny how you can totally not care about a sport until it looks like you might get a gold medal in it? I was running around the house like a chicken with my head cut off..what time is the curling on at? Then I was devastated when our women’s curling team lost the gold to Team Sweden.
Isn’t it bizarre…curlers really don’t seem that athletic yet they seem to be curling constantly throughout the Olympics. I mean 24-7. Everytime, I turned on the tv, there was one of the Canadian teams playing another 8 hour game.
Maybe our men’s team will bring home the gold. But first they have to get by the Norwegians in their pajama pants. How cute is the Norwegian skip?
They call our skip – Kevin Martin- writers call him the Michael Jordan of curling. C’mon-those cold dead blue eyes-he’s a dead ringer for the white supremist leader from Oz.
